semester reflection
Part 1 Quality of work Overall, my work this semester was an slight improvement from last year. My focus could have been sharper through out my images. I have been able to work better with my camera. Contrast has been very pristine. I tried to have composition in mind when taking photos in regards to perspective, and lighting, etc.. Effort My effort this semester has mostly been where I need to be. I don't look for convince, but I get my car in June so finding locations for photos can be hard. I'm always willing to try an idea. If i tried everything I can to get a shot ill move to my next idea. I would like to be more conceptual, our projects are helping me with that, example emotion photography, even black and white photography. I'm very judgmental of my own photography. Participation I am never late to class, but I need to improve on use of class time. I think everyone in class can use our 90 minutes better. I prefer to work alone on assignments and tend to ...
black and white photography assignment
This image works as a black and white image because it uses good shadow and composition. Lighting is coming from a downward angle. The perspective (which is limited to straight on) gives more of a eerie vibe. The doll is also dirty so this impacted the choice of lighting. the eyes are very bold which helps set the scene. My images focus: shadow/ texture/ contrast
